About The Valley Climate Gathering

This gathering is co-hosted by the newly formed Valley Climate Coalition (VCC) and the Wisconsin Office of Sustainability’s Wisconsin Climate Action Navigators (WI-CAN) network.

This event will take place at the beautiful facilities at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls campus that sits directly along the banks of the scenic Kinnickinnic River connected to the St. Croix River watershed.

The Valley Climate Gathering will bring together both Wisconsin and Minnesota environmental leaders in the St. Croix Valley Region including; leaders and staff from local townships, cities, counties and statewide staff, nonprofit and community organizations, consultants and elected officials.

The Valley Climate Gathering will inspire attendees to engage in discussions about impactful solutions to protect our beautiful valley region through; panels, small group breakout discussions, resource sharing, project pitches, networking as well as hearing both success stories and barriers to local city and regional climate work.

Let’s protect our region through building climate-resilient communities across state and topic lines. Our work together at the Valley Climate Gathering will build a diverse network protecting the St. Croix Valley Region and our own local communities from climate change impacts.
